Join our community as we work together in the 9th Precinct to restore hope

What?

Camp Restore Detroit works alongside community members in the 9th precinct to clean up our neighborhood, share God's love through weekly Bible Study, reduce crime and transform lives through radio patrol and teen mentoring, and end generational poverty by growing community connections and education and health initiatives. Join us!

 

Why? Restore Hope:

Hope is linked with health, quality of life, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose. It is an essential factor for developing maturity and resilience.*

 

Why? Reduce Violence & Provide Safe Spaces:

The youth in our community face violence daily. Each blight filled lot in a block raises crime by 20% and a safe Christ filled space is imperative.

Why? End Generational Poverty

More than 80% of our students are growing up experiencing poverty. Only 3% of our high school graduates are proficient in reading and math. These are related and must change.

Cook a Meal 
Connect with the Kids 

Cook a meal for our weekly Bible Study or for our Volunteers over the summer. Maybe come play with kids during dinner & Bible Study!

Youth in Action Weeks 

Bring youth to a Youth in Action week! Each YIAW has a speaker, band, service, learning, and growing in faith! You can create your own week too!

Corporate Volunteering,
Field Trips, & Retreats

Bring your company, school, or group to Camp Restore for a day spent volunteering and serving the community!

This work is impactful, transformational Kingdom work. Even in the midst of difficulties, the hardest part of the work is running out of funding & pausing impactful programs leaving intense holes.
