Camp Restore Detroit works alongside community members in the 9th precinct to remove blight, restore or fix damaged homes, provide community services, and more!
Why? Restore Hope:
Hope is linked with health, quality of life, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose. It is essential factor for developin maturity and resilience.*
Why? Reduce Violence:
Each blight filled lot in a block raises crime by 20%.

Is there an area in your community you want to improve? Block Club leaders and community members can submit a request for extra hands to help with community beautification projects and community events. Projects are chosen and led by our community leaders. Campers have helped clear empty lots, plant flowers and trees, clear sidewalks, board up abandoned houses, and more!
