More Than Internships: Building Character and Leadership - Meet Damarrius

Together we did it! Our $35,000 year end goal has been surpassed. Because you surpassed our $35,000 year-end goal, the Youth Mentorship program of CRD is being prepared for a massive season of growth. We aren't just offering internships; we are rooting young men like Damarrius in character, leadership, and a heart for service.

Initially, the hard work can seem slow. As Damarrius puts it:

“I had a fantastic experience being an intern at Camp Restore. It impacted me by helping me understand different communities, caring for people and their environments, and providing life-changing opportunities. CRD did seem boring at first, but it truly helps build character and leadership for young men.”

Your year-end support is the reason we can move past first impressions to do the deep work of cultivation. Damarrius is a fine example of the leadership we are growing here in the 9th Precinct—young men equipped to tend to the communities with the love of Christ.
