Your gifts don't just go toward restoration projects in our community; they create an inspiring environment where young people find deep purpose and genuine connection. Chase, a recent volunteer, shares how your support for our mission led him to find true friends, spiritual wisdom, and a new passion for sharing the Gospel.
“My time at Camp Restore has had a real impact on me, even though I’ve only been volunteering since the summer. In that short time, I’ve met some amazing, genuine people who are caring, joyful, and always encouraging. I can honestly call them friends now. Seeing how passionate everyone is about restoring the city of Detroit has moved me. You can feel their love for the mission just by watching how they serve others. Being around that has inspired me to volunteer whenever I can because I want to help make a difference too.
I’ve also been shaped a lot by our weekly Bible study led by Pastor Tim, who truly knows the Word and teaches it with so much wisdom. The Bible study feels close and personal, and everyone is involved. No question feels out of place, and we have deep conversations about life and how it connects to Scripture. Because of that environment, I’ve found myself talking to strangers about Jesus more often, and it feels natural. Sharing the gospel with people who may not know it has become important to me, and Camp Restore has played a big role in helping me grow in that way.”
No matter how you give to Camp Restore, whether through prayer, time, or resources, your support is multiplying our impact by developing passionate leaders like Chase, who now naturally share the hope found in Scripture. Thank you for joining us as together we continue to foster this essential environment of fellowship and faith, where serving the city leads directly to sharing the Gospel.
